’m not gonna lie: by the time the 2026 AVN Awards actually started, I was done. After three and a half straight hours of live red carpet interviews, my feet hurt, my voice was toast, and my brain had officially powered down. So yes — shamefully — I skipped the ceremony itself and went straight to bed.
Do I regret it? A little. Was it the right call for survival? Absolutely.
For more than four decades, the AVN Awards have stood as the most prestigious honor in adult entertainment. First held in 1984, the show has grown alongside the industry itself, earning its longtime nickname as “the Oscars of porn” for celebrating excellence in performance, filmmaking, and innovation across every corner of adult media. Each year is both a snapshot of where the industry is right now and a tribute to the legends who built it. This year was hosted by Abigaiil Morris and ItsLo, alongside comedian Brittany Schmitt, bringing humor and heart to a night rooted in legacy. Adding to the spectacle, Wiz Khalifa took the stage with a live musical performance, underscoring just how far the AVNs have evolved into a true pop-culture event.
So when I read the winners from my cozy hotel bed, I felt so much pride and joy seeing so many colleagues I genuinely adore get their flowers. These weren’t just wins — they were earned moments.
Some notable wins for me: I was especially happy to see Jennifer White take Female Performer of the Year. She wanted that title badly, and she deserved every ounce of it. Watching her momentum this year has been unreal — and let’s not forget, she won at the XMAs too. A banner year in every sense.

Here at Wet Ink we were also thrilled to see Lexi Luna finally win MILF Performer of the Year. That one was a long time coming, and nobody questioned it for a second. Legacy win.

And I can't help but laugh when I think about Blake Blossom telling me — completely seriously — that she really wanted to win Best Blowbang so she wouldn’t have to do one again. Manifestation works, folks. Congratulations, Blake. You earned your rest 😌

I was also really happy — and honestly not at all surprised — to see Ken Feels take home Best Supporting Actor and Tommy Pistol win Best Actor. Ken is still relatively newer to the scene, and I’ll admit I had no idea how deep his acting chops ran until I saw him in Seth Gamble’s Once Upon a Time in the Valley. That performance absolutely sold me — he brought real emotional weight, nuance, and presence, and he deserved that win completely (especially after taking the same title at the XMAs just a week earlier). As for Tommy? He’s simply the unrivaled best actor in our industry, full stop. Watching him collect yet another Best Actor award felt inevitable in the best way — and according to what Ricky Greenwood told me on the red carpet that night, this win officially puts Tommy at five AVN Best Actor trophies, more than anyone else in the history of our field. Icon behavior.
But one of my personal favorite moments? Best Comedy going to my dear friend Mike Quasar for his movie Her Best Friend's Dad. Anyone who knows Mike knows he loves to jokingly complain about not winning AVNs — and to be fair it had been a long time. Seeing him finally take one home made me ridiculously happy.
Even though I watched it all unfold from bed, the love, pride, and community still came through loud and clear. Congratulations to everyone who won — and to everyone who keeps pushing this industry forward. 💖
